LEAP Fox Valley connects high school students with the world of philanthropy.
LEAP does this through a 2-year curriculum that teaches students topics related to philanthropy and the structure behind non-profit organizations such as Endowments, Grants, Foundations, Volunteering, Financials, History, Grant Making and Fundraising.
This program is made possible through partnering with Individuals, Corporations, Non-profit Organizations and Foundations to raise funds to support this program. LEAP students in their 2nd year of the program learn fundraising and seek donations to fund the program.
A $1,600 donation will support one high school student for the full 2-year program. This will cover the curriculum licenses, learning experiences, and $20,000 of LEAP Grant funds that the students award to non-profit organizations in Kane County, IL in their 1st year of the program.
By donating to LEAP, you are not only supporting the program but you become part of the learning process where the LEAP students learn about giving effective presentations, networking, developing a case for support, and the many types of fundraising.
LEAP operates through Hope Grows - a registered 501(c)(3) organization that supports philanthropy education and accepts donations to fund this unique program.
